Renee Romo was born and raised in Sierra Vista, Arizona. Romo competed in scholarship pageants for nearly two decades, and is a three time Arizona State Cinderella titleholder. Since the age of six, Romo has done ventriloquism, a talent that has won her numerous Arizona State Cinderella talent awards, two International Cinderella talent awards and a Miss Arizona preliminary talent award. Competing in pageants helped Romo cultivate the skills she needed to become the journalist she is today, such as public speaking, interviewing and confidence.
