Romo has been a reporter for KOLD 13 News in Tucson, AZ, since February of 2024. During her time she's covered a wide variety of stories across Southern Arizona. Her coverage of former Congressman Raúl Grijalva's passing earned her an Emmy nomination in the Rocky Mountain Region. Before moving to Tucson, Romo was a Washington, D.C., correspondent for ASU's Cronkite News in Fall of 2023, where she reported on Capitol Hill, primarily covering politics and sustainability. Romo has written for PolitiFact, and interned with Arizona Education News Service.
